Twirl from 10 "Just Twist" Modules (Krystyna Burczyk): Instructions
After learning how to fold the twirl using 8 butterfly modules, Krystyna also showed us a twirl with 10 modules. You had to make tighter twirls, which was a bit harder, but I like the result even more. The paper also had a slightly pearlescent effect, which does give the finished model a special touch.

Krystyna taught this model at the CDO Convention 2009. The modules are as simple as you could imagine: fold a square in half diagonally, then twirl in the right places - fold a couple, and assemble. There's some skill to making nice twirls, of course, and when you watch Krystyna make twirls it becomes painfully aware how bad you are yourself at making them. Still, it was a fun model to make, and I absolutely love the look of the twirls. Even my first try at it, as seen on the picture, didn't turn out too badly.
