Some of you may have seen a photo of the Last Waltz I folded for Mel's wedding. Were you curious what it would look like on the cake?
I feel honored that my folded model was the center point of such a beautifully decorated cake. And it sure looks delicious! The cake, that is, not the fold. :)

Paper: 19.7cm by 56.6cm, tissue foil
Model: 7.5cm by 5cm by 12cm

Mel, a friend of mine, is getting married on the same day as me. So unfortunately - and quite understandably - I won't be able to join her celebration. But at least a part of me - this folded model - will be there. Mel is wearing an emerald dress, hence I decided to fold her wedding cake topper with green and black tisse foil.

Llopio's Moment of Truth (Neal Elias): Second Attempt

I have to confess: it bothers me when others don't recognize my folds. And when the first comment on my previous attempt asked what the model was supposed to represent... well, I had to give it another go. Here's my second attempt, same paper, slightly smaller size. Hope this one's more up to the match.

Paper: 13.5cm x 38.25cm sheet of tissue foil
Model: 8cm long, 7cm high, 4cm deep

Although I think I can still improve on the rendition of this model, I quite like my first result.
Also, I used slightly shorter paper than needed (of course intentional *cough cough*), which enabled me to make a colour-changed face. I guess the torero is angry, too!

Paper: 16cm x 45.2cm sheet of tissue foil
